9/11 Memorial
As we all know, today is 9/11, we all remember the terrible tragedy that the United States suffered 11 years ago today. Though for some of us, its more than just a memory. I take pride in looking back on 9/11 and remembering not only the innocent citizens, but remembering also my grandfather. My grandfather, Billy Mac Clements passed away 4 years ago today, and not a day goes by that i do not think about him, he was an enormous influence on my life, and will always be. I look up to him as a role model and I know he looks down on me and protects. The picture above is from the Virginia Veterans Memorial where he is buried, I went for a short visit before work today and snapped a quick picture, I can always feel his presence around me and I tend to always check the clock at 9:11 at least once a day. This is my favorite way to remember him with such passion, what a great man he truly was. I hope all who have lost someone close can relate to an amazing memory of them as I can. So if you get a chance today, please take a moment to pray, in honor of all the loved ones we've lost.
